Homepage: Identifying my Setup

The first thing you will see whenever you log in to myClinicalExchange is going to be your institution's Homepage. How this page is laid out will determine how you interact with the Rotational Workflow in mCE.

Depending on your Hospitals' preferences, you will either have a Traditional Request setup, a Slot-Based setup, or a Joint setup. If you are unsure of which setup type you have, please look at the below indicators to differentiate between the three.

Traditional Request Setup
In a Traditional Request configuration, you will have a Find Request # search box, a New Request button in the top-right, and the first four columns on the orange bar will be #, Req. Date, Period, and Degree.

Slot-Based Configuration
If your University uses the Slot-Based configuration, you will have a Slot ID search box, a Request New Slots button in the top-right, and the first four columns on the orange bar will be Slot ID, Date, Day, and Shift.
Note: OK schools, MI Schools of Nursing, and certain TX schools will exclusively us the Slot-Based configuration.
Note: Schools that exclusively use the Slot-Based configuration can access the Traditional Request tab, but there will be no information under it.

Joint Configuration
Joint configuration campuses will utilize both the Slot and the Traditional Request portions of the site, depending on which hospital rotations are being requested from. You will need to toggle back and forth between the Slots and Traditional Requests tabs to view your requested rotations, depending on which section is applicable.
Note: If your campus uses the Joint configuration, you will want to review both the Traditional and the Slot configuration help sections.
Note: If you select a hospital that utilizes Traditional Requests from the Slots tab (or vice versa), the site will automatically redirect you
to the correct request page for that Hospital.

Once you've determined your setup, you can click on one of the two buttons below to be taken directly to that setup's help section. If you have a joint setup, please select "Next Page" button to go through each Homepage in order.
