Search Parameters (Rotation Manager)
 
This section of the help file will discuss how to open and use the different Search Parameters to change what rotations you can view in the Rotation Manager.
 
To open the Search Parameters window, begin by clicking on the Sandwich Icon in the upper-left part of the page.
 
The Search Parameters will open on the left-side of the page.  Each of these Parameters has been defined to the right of the table.
View Rotations
Allows you to specify a general characteristic of the request. Defaults to "Current", which shows ongoing rotations, but other options include: "Future", "Starting within the next...", "Starting Between", "Ending Between", "For Student", "For Instructor", and "For Preceptor/Staff".
University
Specifies the University the request was placed from. The only option under this drop-down is your own University.
Program
Specifies which Hospital program(s) to show rotations for.
Facility
Specifies which Hospital facility to display rotations for (if applicable).
Cohort
Specifies which Student cohort(s) to display rotations for.
Course
Specifies the Student course to display requests for.
Semester
Allows you to specify which semester (Summer, Spring, etc.) to display rotations for (if applicable).
Year
Allows you to specify a calendar year to display requests for.
Filter By
Narrows search to assigned students or assigned Instructors. Defaults to "Both".
Status
Allows you to narrow your search to rotations with students/instructors who are non-compliant.
 
Once you've set your search parameters, click on the yellow "Search" button to refresh the home page with the new criteria.
 
The newly refreshed page will only display students/instructors on rotations that meet your search criteria.
