3.5. My Exams

 
Accessing your Exams
You can reach your My Exams page by clicking on My Views menu at the top of the Homepage.
 
You can also reach your My Exams page by clicking on one of the Rotation links in your Ongoing/past rotation(s) section of the Homepage.
Then clicking on the Test status on your Ongoing/past rotation(s) page.
 
To access an exam, select the Start button in the far-right column.
 
Some exams may provide Instructions before you begin.
Once you have reviewed the instructions, select Continue to begin the exam, or select Cancel to return to the Exams page.
 
 
Types of Questions
Below are examples of the five different question types in mCE. 
 
Multiple Choice
These questions will have multiple options to select from but only one answer is correct. To provide an answer, select the radio button next to the appropriate selection and click Next.
 
Multiple Selection
These questions will have multiple options and multiple answers. For these questions, check off the box next to your answer choices and then click Next.
 
True or False
True or False questions will only have two options and one answer. Select if the statement is true or false, then click Next.
 
Fill in the Value
Value questions will require a number to be entered as an answer. The box will not allow letters to be inputed. Enter the appropriate number, then click Next.
 
Fill in the Blank
Blank questions require specific text to be typed in. This box will not allow numbersto be inputed. Enter the appropriate text, then click Next.
Note: Fill in the Blank questions are extremely finicky and require exact text, including capitalization. Entering a similar answer, or an answer with improper punctuation, will be counted as "Incorrect".
 
 
Completing the Exam
Once you have completed each question in the exam, you will be taken to the page below. Click Close to be returned to the Exams page and review your score.
 
In the My Exams section, your Result and the Completion Date will be recorded.
The site will record your Completion Date even if you fail the exam, so be sure to check the Result to make sure you passed!
